John has been helping homeowners, business owners, realtors, and friends design and remodel their homes while exceeding expectations both in quality and customer service for over 25 years. What started out as a tile and stone business soon flourished into a passion for home design-build, remodeling, and space reconfiguration based on his common-sense design talent. House to Home Remodeling and Design was established in 2001 and since then has become one of the leading general contracting firms in North County San Diego. The work was done professionally, on schedule, and with quality craftsmanship.Our job foreman (Pat McCaroll) was excellent. Our primary area of focus is North County San Diego but we also serve the greater Southern California region such as Orange County, Imperial County and Riverside County. Our office is in Encinitas and the majority of our projects are in La Jolla, Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar, Encinitas, Solana Beach, Carlsbad and San Marcos.
How much does a project cost?

What do I need to get a project started with House to Home?
To get a project started all you need is an idea. With our design build team in house you can be sure that we can bring your idea to life from the idea stage to completion.

Why should I choose a design build firm?
A design build firm has many advantages. A few of the main advantages are taking a "master builder" approach where all the work is done by one team, there is a single point of contact/responsibility, work is done faster and more efficiently, a more cohesive team, less conflicts and more likely to stay on budget.
Is design build cheaper than the traditional design, bid, build model?

Will I need to hire other contractors or sub contractors on my project?
