In the past Sudafed use to work well only something has changed since now information technology does nothing for me. In the past it worked well but now for some reason it is worthless. I apply to have to ask for it at the chemist's and it is at present easier since I no longer have to practise this. If only it worked like information technology did in the by.

I have been taking Sudafed for years. I have bad Sinutis, live near the ocean, have a deviated septum, but commonly volition not get it if I keep a warm lid on my head, and launder my hair at night, and do no go out, giving 8 hours sleeping for my head pores to close. Air-conditioning systems on high in the summer, i.e. Grocery stores volition give information technology to me. I carry a warm cap in the store in my purse. I take my had everywhere. Sudafed is the only matter that works. I look to take it in the morn at 8 AM. I take 3 at once. I detest the feeling but if I take less information technology does not work. By viii PM I am feeling normal again and able to sleep by 10:xxx PM. My blood pressure goes up during the 24-hour interval. I take BP med anyways so I take the normal dose, and information technology needed some other 1/ii dose. I am 63. For me going from hot where head pores are open to a common cold breeze, or high A/C will really start information technology. Also, sometimes the barometric pressure when the ocean side boondocks gets heavy fog layer--- June gloom they use to call information technology by now information technology comes in July and Baronial due to climate change. My lid is my saver from sinus attack most of the fourth dimension. I don't like Sudafed although it is the only thing that works once I go it, so my chapeau is a pocket-size inconvenience to retrieve to always have with me. I go astringent migraines too one time information technology starts, and gets worse. In that case, I take Imitrex only don't take it the same day as the Sudafed.

From my experience, Walmart generic nasal decongestant works better. The final fourth dimension I had a cold, I took twelve 60 minutes Walmart brand pills and you lot never would've known I was sick. I ran out after that cold, and now I have another common cold and I've been on Sudafed for 5 days, and I've been extremely miserable and constantly blowing my nose.

Unfortunately, I took information technology in the evening and it kept me awake all night and I was bit shaky. Still, the alternative Phenylephrine does not work at all. I volition take it only during the day from now on.

Sudafed is the only medication I have taken amid well-nigh on the market that stops my runny olfactory organ and allows me to keep with my life unimpeded. The medicine works from the offset dosage. I started taking Sudafed when overseas in the Army in the '80s. It continues to be the sole effective medication that tames the effects of the common cold virus I get. It eliminates the nasal drip that, unchecked, leads to a painful, wracking chest common cold. With Sudafed, the drip disappears and so does the coughing.

Easy to acquire & inexpensive every bit well. Virtually Physicians have no hesitation in recommending OTC "purchase" for "utilize" at the prescription level. For many a pregnant woman, this is her just relief!

After taking two doses (one dose two pills, and another dose two pills - 4 hours later) I adult numbness in my top teeth. I went to my doc the next day and still had numbness in my teeth. Since August (that is when I took the sudafed) my sense of smell and my sense of taste has been severly dulled. I do have a broad sense of aroma (I tin can odor Vicks and bleach and other very strong oders) just my fine sense of smell is gone. Also my fine sense of sense of taste is gone likewise. Have there ever been any reports of this happening? I exercise intend to go dorsum to my doctor to meet if there is anything I can do or whatever treatments to help this status.
